SA Poker operates as a private social club that includes activities such as poker and watching your favorite sporting event on our many TV’s.
Q: Do I have to be a member to visit SA Poker?
A: Yes, In order to stay compliant with state regulation, all individuals, groups, corporate or charity events must become members at SA Poker. There are NO exceptions to this rule. Several different memberships are available including:
Q: Where is SA Poker located?
A: We are conveniently located at 4553 N Loop 1604 E #1102, San Antonio, TX 78249. We are next door to Picks Bar.
Q: How does SA Poker charge for activities?
A: SA Poker charges members on an hourly basis for access to their private club. All individuals must first become club members and/or verify their existing membership at the lobby. Once a member, before entering the club, members must check in at the front lobby which allows members access to the club and all amenities/activities. Members are charged hourly time collection based on the amount of time spent in the club playing poker. This setup is most similar to greens fees at a private golf club.
Q: How is my TIME COLLECTION determined?
A: Once a member is checked in at the lobby, time collection is assessed and collected at the top of and at the half hour mark of every hour. The hourly rate is currently $10/hour which includes sales tax. Time collection is only assessed for time spent playing poker in a cash game or freeroll tournament. Regular tournaments are subject to a flat time collection fee, not an hourly rate.
Example: A member playing Cash games that is checked in for 3 ½ hours would pay time collection equal to $35
Q: I want to become a SA Poker member, how do I do so?
A: Stop by the club and fill out the SA Poker Club Membership Agreement and pay the membership fee associated with your term of membership (Daily/Monthly/Annual). Periodically SA Poker management may meet to discuss alteration of membership eligibility.
Q: Can my membership be revoked?
A: Yes, SA Poker management reserves the right to revoke membership for violations of club rules, breaches of etiquette, negative review of criminal background checks, or other reasons.
